Mike Pilinski is different from run of the mill dating guru’s in a couple of ways. One of them is that he is utterly matter-of-fact about what it is that he needs from a woman, and if it is to get laid, he will say so. Moreover, he is very frank in his discussions of how you too can get laid – fast! If this is the kind of thing you need to know about, then Mike has plenty to tell you about how to get the job done.

After you have got through reading his book, not only will you understand exactly what you need to do to get sex on the first date, but you will have to think about whether you want to employ that power to get what you want immediately, every time you date a new woman – because once you have switched on that sexual torrent in a woman, she will be expecting something from you on every subsequent date. You may have to work hard to outdo yourself!

The truth of the matter for most guys, of course, is that they would be more than lucky to eventually have sex with even one out of every four women they take out on a date. Even then, the time it takes to lead up to the event could be weeks or even months. Most men just have no idea HOW to go about engineering the situation so that sex on the first date is not only a natural outcome to the night, but something that the woman will be thinking about long before you get her to her front door.

Michael Pilinski recognizes this essential fact of dating for guys because he was once in their shoes. He remembers the frustration and anxiety that goes hand in hand with the primary aim of trying to get laid fast but knowing that you just do not have the temerity to follow it through with the kind of action needed to make your date want to throw caution to the wind and jump right into your bed along with you.

What you need to get laid, he says, is a four part plan. His plan. Briefly, it consists of the following parts:

[1] If you are set to go on a date with her then you are already to second base. Otherwise you need to do whatever it takes to get her attention and make it known that you and she ought to be spending some time together. Once you are with her, the rest becomes simply a matter of reading from the Pilinski play book. So make eye contact, engage her, and seek out a way to bring her into your world as fast as you can. First impressions are important, and Michael will give you a lot of advice about how to steer her thinking your way.

[2] Learn how to act on the slightest suggestion from her that she may be interested in you as a potential partner. You might not get a second chance with her, so use what Michael has to tell you about reading a woman from the way she behaves and the things that she says when she is around you. Recognize your opportunities when they present themselves, and exploit whatever interest she shows in you.

[3] Get a commitment from her for a time and place where you both can meet up and do something together. It need not even be a date – any excuse to spend time together is going to sway the odds in your favor that a sexual union will eventually take place – and soon, if you follow the tips that Michael offers in his book. The biggest mistake guys make is not being ready for the opportunities that a woman will put out there automatically whenever she meets a man for the first time.

[4] Be the man who knows exactly what he wants and how to get it. This is important. No guy gets sex from a girl because she decides to simply throw herself at you (well, few men). It is a delicate dance of seduction that the successful man partakes in willfully and knowledgeably. There are no accidents when it comes to managing sex on your first date. You must know how to play the game if you are to win at it, and do it every time you play again. In short, it is a science, and one that can be learned if you follow someone who has worked out the rules of attraction for you.

And ROOT WORDS. Do you know how to take apart the content of what a woman is telling you when she speaks to you? If you do not know how to spot those root words you will not be able to effectively re-engage her and steer the conversation in the direction she wants it to go, so that when the time comes she will actually be hoping that you ask to see her again.

But there is much more to developing complete control over your relationships with the opposite sex than simply gaining mastery over your opening move. Slade’s book is aimed at men who want it all – not just to get a woman, but to get the kind of woman that makes the whole experience chasing her worth the effort.

But let us backtrack for a moment so that I can tell you a little about the author and his motivation for putting together Fireworks With Females – the very first of many books on dating that I have closely examined.

Slade Shaw was one of those guys that you probably see often enough if you happen to be spending time right now on a college campus. He was the guy who seemed always to draw attention from the girls. He wasn’t necessarily someone that other guys resented. But he did have something going for him that WORKED.

As Slade explains it, he found that in college there were a group of guys like himself, who naturally tend to gravitate toward each other. They seemed to get on well for reasons that escaped him back then, but which he now believes had much to do with the fact that all of them possessed a natural talent for attracting and commanding the attention of girls.

It is that natural talent that provides the means and the experiences that back up the ideas that Slade Shaw discusses in the book. I liked John Alexander’s book How To Become An Alpha Male much more than I thought I would. In part this was due to first impressions. The cover of the ebook is a little on the cheesy side with its silhouettes of scantily clad gyrating girls. But do not let this deter you. What you will discover within the book is just the kind of material that you are hoping for when it comes to relationship guides for men – a well-written and logical philosophy of how to approach girls, behave around them, and bring them into your life for lots of healthy sex. Make no mistake, sex IS the primary goal behind all of the preparation and self-reinvention that John promotes.

If John Alexander’s philosophy could be reduced to the bare essentials, it would probably consist of something like this: (1) you need to discover how to become the sort of guy that does NOT depend on the approval of girls in order to feel good about yourself, but you must learn to do this without becoming arrogant – and once you do feel good about yourself you will also easily manage to convince others to feel the same way. (2) in order to make a girl feel attracted to you and want to have sex with you, you must ensure that she never feels that she would be seen by you or anyone else as being a slut (John’s exact words, repeated many times throughout the book).

If you can do those two things, and the degree of success is in the details, then you are well on your way to becoming the Alpha Male that takes the woman home night after night.

But first, let me back track a little and put things into perspective.

Relationship books for guys tend to fall into two types. There are those created by young guys whose main motivation seems to be the chance to make some money selling to a perpetual niche known as the “men’s dating and seduction” genre, and there are those other writers who seem to be genuinely interested in the topic. These are the guys who bring a level of maturity and sophistication to their writing. They write as though their goal was to create the “Thinking Man’s Guide To The Seduction Of Women”.

Fortunately, Michael Pilinski’s book “Without Embarrassment” is of the latter variety. We discover within the first four pages that, not only will enjoy the man’s style of writing, but we will be learning some important stuff as well. As an example, on the fourth page of text we are exposed to the amazing courting rituals of the Greek Spartans, and suddenly we realize that all of our own modern day courting rituals are just that – social modes of behavior that are largely the arbitrary result of cultural evolution, and which very probably conflict with the physical modes of behavior that the process of sexual evolution has put in place over far longer periods of time.

Pilinski’s contention is that your ineptness with women is a manifestation of conflicting physical and social blueprints that your body and mind are working from, and that it is instructive to keep in mind that “these laws of romance have been shaped in the crucible of fire and passions that were born of far more desperate times than our own”.

Well, sure, you might be thinking, but can “Without Embarrassment” actually meet its promise and teach me how to be REALLY successful with women? According to Pilinski, yes, absolutely: “You will learn some of the classiest methods imaginable to influence and seduce the kind of great looking girls that you’ve always fantasized about having.” He then says his book will do this by teaching you how to act like a High-Status Dominant Male.

Is is he right about this? I think so, yes. But if you want to find out more about this unusual seduction title for men, you will need to get over to my Without Embarrassment review page and read the remainder of my review. Trust me, it will be worth the effort – especially if you are a guy looking to erase those bad patterns of behavior that you have been exhibiting with women, and replace them with other that will start paying off with the kind of overwhelmingly positive response from the opposite sex that you would not have thought possible.

So what I intend to give you here is a quick, and entirely incomplete assessment of one of these men’s dating titles. The book in question is The Art Of Approaching, by Joseph Matthews. This book turns out to be a very long one for its genre. On the plus side, Matthews is fairly good at keeping us entertained, so the length is not too much of a problem. Still, it will take you a while to work your way through the entire 351 pages. Yes, when I said The Art Of Approaching was long, I was not kidding. The book starts off with a recap of its own history and how, even recently, Joseph will find himself challenged by prospects to prove that the ideas in his book really do work to secure his success with women. We are shown a “live” demonstration of him attempting to pick up four women in a setting where, normally, it is very difficult to make any headway – the dreaded bar scenario. Can Joseph insert himself into a group of women he has never met before, and win their affections within a matter of minutes?

Of course, this is exactly what he does, and in doing so he lays the foundation for his art of approaching women. It is a quite convincing pickup approach, but will we – his audience – be able to reproduce the same kind of success using his techniques? The answer is, yes. With some practice, the methods outlined in Joseph’s book can only help to IMPROVE your chances of attracting the kind of attention from women that you have always dreamed of.

The first thing I noticed about Joseph Matthews, as I advanced through his book, is that I very much enjoy the sections of his writing that conjure up real-life scenarios. As a writer myself, it is easy for me to recognize narrative talent in another writer when I come across it. I am also left with the feeling that, if I were to write a book on how to date women successfully, I would be relating to you many of the things that Joseph puts forth in his book. I also agree completely with his assertion that there is nothing wrong with trying to increase your chances of success with women by getting your education, in some part, from a book.
